The Nightmare

 "Let me go! Let me go!". She woke up,drenched in sweat,her heart pounding. She got up,walked to the kitchen and pourred herself a glass of water, her hands shaking. She drank the water, her heart slowly calming,heartbeat back to normal now.

 She pulled out a chair and sat next to the window in the cold,dark kitchen.

 He had let her go,just like she had asked. She had felt so alone ever since,woken up from a dream to a nightmare. Her own,self inflicted nightmare.
